Cooperation between Padeco Co., Ltd. and AIM Group: The Path to Ukraine’s Recovery
In February 2024, at the ReBuild Ukraine 2024 exhibition held in Warsaw, an event became a true success story of international cooperation. This event was supported by EEN Ukraine and provided the first in-person meeting between representatives of the Japanese company Padeco Co., Ltd. and the Ukrainian company AIM Group. This meeting was the culmination of months of online negotiations, leading to the formation of an ambitious project aimed at supporting Ukraine’s recovery.
Padeco Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese engineering company, has been developing innovative infrastructure, transportation, and manufacturing solutions for many years. Their experience in implementing sustainable technologies across various countries played a key role in choosing Ukraine as a new direction for collaboration. Together with AIM Group, a Ukrainian company specializing in industrial market research, business digitalization, and innovative solutions—including financial analytics, CRM integration, AI-powered analytical platforms, and smart city projects—they decided to develop a model for recycling construction waste into paving tiles, which could become a crucial element in Ukraine’s rebuilding process.

Although the preliminary agreements were discussed online, the face-to-face meeting in Warsaw allowed the partners to finalize project details and establish a strong foundation of trust. ReBuild Ukraine 2024 was a platform for showcasing capabilities and a key venue for initiating new partnerships. Thanks to the efforts of EEN Ukraine and APPAU, which organized the Ukrainian delegation, favorable conditions for productive dialogue were created.
As part of this cooperation, Padeco Co., Ltd. is studying the technological aspects of the project, offering its expert solutions for production facility placement and material processing. Meanwhile, AIM Group provides analytical support, leveraging its extensive experience in industrial market solutions. Their joint goal is to develop a techno-economic feasibility study and attract international investment for the project’s implementation.
This story vividly shows how international cooperation can contribute to Ukraine’s recovery. The combined efforts of Padeco Co., Ltd. and AIM Group demonstrate that innovation, expertise, and the willingness to work together can make a difference in rebuilding and shaping a better future.
