Participants at the event ‘Industry 5.0 in the food industry’

APPAU and EDIH KYIV HITECH summed up the first results of the campaign last week Industry 5.0 in the agro-food industry. After the brokerage event, the next stage of work begins – the formation of pilot projects, the launch of a program to support the digital transformation of enterprises and the development of the industry expert community.

Published Public Report on Agrifood Digital Innovation MatchMaking

APPAU along with partners published Public report According to the results of the first brokerage event ‘Industry 5.0 in the agro-food industry’, which took place on July 15. The event was attended by 12 agricultural enterprises, 9 system integrators, representatives of universities, international partners and experts in digital transformation.

Within a few months, the EDIH Kyiv Hitech team formed Innovation Demand Pipeline – portfolio of more than 20 verified business cases of Ukrainian manufacturers. They became the basis for matchmaking between companies and integrators and allowed us to move from discussing technology to developing specific pilot projects.

The report also presents the main conclusions of theThematic round tables on energy efficiency, automation and robotics, MES-systems, AI-agents and migrations with 1C / BAS. Independently of each other, all expert groups came to a common conclusion: today the largest barThe ER for digital transformation is not the lack of technology, but the lack of independent expertise, practical education and quality support of enterprises.

A separate section of the report is devoted to further steps: launching a digital transformation program of production SMEs from EDIH Kyiv Hitech, creating a working group Agrifood Industry 5.0, developing educational programs from industrial AI, ERP and MES, as well as the preparation of industry white books.

Agrifood Digital Innovation MatchMaking Webinar will take place on July 28

The next step will be Final online webinar, which will take place July 28 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

During the meeting, the organizers will present the main results of the brokerage event, the results of all thematic round tables and the first developed pilot projects. Particular attention will be paid to further joint initiatives of enterprises, opportunities to join new participants and a program to support the digital transformation of production SMEs from Edih Kyiv Hitech.
