APPAU will take part in the Learning Expedition Idealist of Advanced Production Technologies in France
On June 10-11, 2026, CEO APPAU Oleksandr Yurchak will join the fifth and final Learning Expedition of the European project Idealist, which will take place in Nantes (France).
The event was organized by a partner of the ALBATROS GIE project and is dedicated to the technologies of 3D printing, additive and hybrid production – one of the most dynamic areas of modern industry.
Learning Expedition will collect production SMEs, innovative clusters, research organizations and technology suppliers from different European countries to share experiences, study best practices and establish international partnerships.
Participants will get acquainted with the practical cases of implementation of additive technologies and digital production solutions during technical conferences, thematic workshops and visits to leading industrial and research centers in the region, including Airbus Atlantic, Daher (Shap’in), Loiretech and IRT Jules Verne.
Particular attention will be paid to the use of innovative production technologies to increase the efficiency, flexibility and competitiveness of industrial enterprises. For Ukrainian companies, this is an opportunity to get acquainted with the European practices of Industry 4.0, expand professional contacts and find potential partners for future projects.
As a partner of the IDEALIST project, APPAU actively promotes the involvement of Ukrainian industrial enterprises in European innovation ecosystems and international cooperation programs. Participation in Learning Expedition is another step towards the integration of Ukrainian industry into the common European space of innovation, technology and production.
Opportunities for providers
In addition, the IDEALIST project has launched the Call for Solutions for Hack&Match #5, the final edition of its open innovation programme. This round features six industrial challenges submitted by manufacturing companies from France, Italy, and Spain, addressing technological needs in advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced materials, smart industrial processes, and sustainable industrial solutions.
The call is open to technology providers, start-ups, SMEs, research organisations, universities, European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), innovation hubs, and other innovation actors capable of offering solutions to these challenges. Selected participants will join the online Hack&Match #5 event on 1–2 July 2026, where they will collaborate directly with Challenge Providers to co-develop innovative solutions.
APPAU encourages Ukrainian technology developers, manufacturing companies, start-ups, and research organisations to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their expertise at the European level, establish international partnerships, and contribute to addressing real industrial challenges through innovation.
The IDEALIST project is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in the implementation of advanced technologies and the development of interregional cooperation in Europe. Learning Expedition in Nantes will be the final event of a series of international study visits, which during the implementation of the project introduced participants to the best practices of modern production and digital transformation.
