On July 15, APPAU will hold together with its partners in Kyiv Matchmaking event “Industry 5.0 in the food industry”- a practical event dedicated to the digital transformation of the agro-food industry.It unites production enterprises, integrators, technology developers, universities and experts around the real production challenges of Ukrainian enterprises.

Participants are waiting for practical cases, expert speeches, presentations of modern technologies, thematic discussions and matchmaking sessions in the format of World Café, where manufacturers will be able to directly discuss their challenges with integrators and experts and develop possible solutions. 

From theory to real production cases

A feature of the event will be to work with real demands of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises. The first business cases that participants will work on during the matchmaking have already been formed:

• modernization of milk protein production and digital design of new production;
• creation of an AI-platform for knowledge management and transfer of agricultural innovations;
• digitization of quality management and R&D (Quality 4.0);
• automation of production in conditions of staff shortages;

Practical experience from leading industry experts

The program of OBIt unites representatives of production companies, technological integrators, universities and EDIH, which will present real cases of digital transformation.

Eugene Kovnir, Head of the Office of Operational Efficiency Management of Agropromholding ‘Astarta’, will share the practical experience of implementing artificial intelligence in a large agro-industrial company and talk about the results, challenges and lessons of this process.

Maxim Tyutyunnik, APPAU expert, and Alexander Pupen, Associate Professor of NUHT, will present an overview of key technologies Industry 4.0-5.0 for the food industry and will help to understand what solutions should be implemented by companies in the first place.

Roman Yavorsky, CCO IT-ENTERPRISE, will demonstrate how AI-agents already today automate the production and business processes of enterprises – from working with technical documentation to supporting management decisions.

Lesya Sobolevska, representative Edih Kyiv Hitech, will talk about the possibilities of innovative fundraising, European support programs and services that help industrial companies to attract funding for digital transformation.

Rodion Shevchenko, Head of System Integration digitap, will tell about modern MES-systems and dispatching systems, which provide control of production in real time and increase the transparency of production processes.

Andriy Starzhynsky (CEO) and Yaroslav Nedashkovsky (CTO) companies a-gnostics Present the AI-platform Pro-gnostics, which helps to forecast energy consumption, optimize the use of energy storage and more efficiently manage the energy portfolio of the enterprise.

Sergey Shilko, founder Tatfood, will present a practical case of using AI-agents in the recruitment of the food industry and will show how to automate the search for narrow specialists without losing a personalized approach.
